We will be discussing ongoing  campaign activities for the November general election as well as changes to our  bylaws regarding endorsement of ballot initiatives and support of candidates.</p>

<p>The Progressive Caucus of the California Democratic Party and the College Democrats will host a two-day gathering of progressive Democrats from around the state, scheduled Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 25-26, on the Fresno State University campus, to help shape the future of the Progressive Caucus and Party in California. There will be opportunities for progressives to learn and share ideas with others from the area and throughout the state. Speakers include:</p>

Raul Grijalva (D-AZ), co-chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus; and
Keith Ellison (D-MN)

		<description><![CDATA[<p>The Michael Esswein for Assembly campaign invites you to volunteer for its<strong> &#8216;Invade Clovis&#8217; campaign event</strong> this Saturday, Aug. 28. During the event, volunteers will conduct precinct walks and phonebank on behalf of the Esswein Campaign. Breakfast and lunch will be served to the volunteers, and babysitting will be provided. Breakfast will be served at 9 a.m., with volunteer training to begin at 9:30 a.m.</p>
